Well before super hero content went fully mainstream, the 1960s Batman show started it all.
Along with a few other cartoons and live action attempts at introducing the comic book icons to television audiences, Batman saw Adam West and Burt Ward bringing the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder to life.
The show was campy, funny and extremely creative, with fun graphics, upbeat music and eccentric villains.
One of the best moments on any episode was the wall climb, which was done by tilting the camera sideways. The wall climb always included fun cameos of onlookers like Sammy Davis Jr., Jerry Lewis, and Dick Clark.
