The Mütter Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is a medical museum. Its collection was donated by Dr. Thomas Dent Mütter in 1858 and was originally intended for biomedical research and education.
The Winchester Mystery House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was once the home of Sarah Winchester, a widow whose late husband created the firearm that was named after him.

There are many rooms and extra long hallways and staircases that lead to cemented ceilings, doors and stairs that go nowhere, and windows overlooking other rooms. Some say she designed the house this way to trick ghosts.
