It's not breaking news that the Chicago Cubs haven't won a title in over 100 years, but even their 103 win total during the 2016 season is very unique.
The last time they reached the 100 win mark was back in 1935. Prior to that, the team had done it in 4 of 5 years from 1907-1910. Their last two World Series titles occurred in 1907 and 1908, with the first year containing 107 wins.
It's miraculous that the team has gone this long without a title, but what's even more remarkable is that we might see them finally win it again. They will begin their postseason campaign at home against the NL Wild Card winners' San Francisco Giants.
